User’s Guide for KAI-638C Coin Acceptor

Voltage: DC+12V
Coin Diameter: 18mm~31mm
Coin Thickness: 1. 2mm~3. 0mm


Replace yellow plastic token with the correct coin you would like to sample.
Adjust coin slot opening to your coin size by adjusting the screw at the back of the metal panel to block larger coins from being inserted.
Turn the screw on front lid in clockwise direction for ditching “thinner coin” through the slot of lid if necessart.
Switch to Normally Open (N.O.) or Normally Closed (N.C.) for signal output coin validation upon Host requested .
3 triggering TIMER SWITCH of Pulse Duration ,
Long : 100 ms
Default : 50 ms
Short : 30 ms
VR tuning for sensitivity of coin acceptance , turn clockwise for slack, anti-clockwise for precise acceptance.
Shift sensitivity switch of coin acceptance downward to “special” to extend the range of discriminated ratio for twin metal coins or the coins in big tolerance.
