BUTYL RUBBER TAPE (FLAT PROFILE) by Geckko Specialty Tapes

Now available for our construction-industry clients who have been requesting for a flat version. You get the same high quality performance you’ve come to expect from our Butyl Rubber Tape, but now with a flat profile.

Non-drying butyl rubber tape perfect for sealing of leaks and gaps. Each roll is 3mm thick X 40mm wide X 5 meters long.

Uses:
-Window and glass sealing
-Pipes, ducting, vent sealing
-Roofing sealing/ dampening/ patch up repair
-Gasket between vibrating panels
-Polycarbonate sealing
-Constructing joints that require waterproof or airtight seals

Working temperature: -28 to +120 degrees Celsius

Adhesion in the shear state: 25N/mm

-Clean surface well before applying for best results. Make sure to remove dust and grease for best adhesion.

-Will not dry (remains always pliable and sticky) so kindly make sure it suits your intended application.

-Heat will help its adhesion strength and pliability. Working and kneading it through your fingers on really cold days will definitely aid in the product’s ability to adhere.
