Carbonized felt surface withstands continuous temperatures of up to 982 degrees Celsius (1,800 fahrenheit), well beyond your engine bay’s median temperature.

As a point of reference, aftermarket car exhaust wraps (fiberglass, vermiculite) are usually rated anywhere from 530 to 700 degrees Celsius continuous.

Features a single sided adhesive backing, for ease of installation.

Installation tips:
1. Make sure surface is clean and free from oil and grease.
2. Start from the middle and work your way outwards.
3. Cut a rough shape bigger than the area you wish to cover as the peaks and ridges of your hood may alter the actual size you need after installation.
