We want to introduce you to Chinese culture while teaching you how to speak and read Mandarin (Standard Chinese)or Fukien. We believe that language study is greatly enhanced by an understanding of the culture in which the language is spoken—this is what sets us apart from other Chinese language schools. While fostering a community atmosphere, we offer affordable day lessons, group or private lessons for foreigners committed to learning, maintaining, or improving their Mandarin skills.

Chinese Teaching Method

A. Speaking, Conversing & Listening Comprehension
Using a variety of teaching materials in interactive group classes of no more than 8 students, we will teach you everything you need to speak and understand Mandarin

B. Characters

Because we believe early exposure to characters (in addition to pinyin) is vital to a true understanding of Mandarin, we begin introducing students to characters at the beginning level of their language study

Finally, we incorporate lessons in culture, teaching students about Chinese cultural events, history, and geography. Taking into account the students’ level of familiarity with China, a typical lesson might focus on Chinese etiquette, the significance of certain holidays, or how the Chinese name their children.
