Job Description:
The OX is looking for a Quality Control ****yst to provide quality control support to the Web development Team. The QC ****yst will be primarily responsible for ensuring the Infrastructure and Helpdesk team projects and operations adhere to standard quality assurance best practices. Testing responsibilities will include: testing the Images, links; maintenance windows server checklist preparation; and testing of website/applications.The position will also provide some application QA support when needed. The candidate must possess excellent multi-tasking and detail-oriented testing skills.

Major Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide quality control support on Infrastructure and Webdev projects to ensure quality standards, procedures, communications and methodologies are being followed.
Work with Webdev and IT teams to develop proper QC process for Infrastructure and Helpdesk projects and operations.
Work with Infrastructure team to develop standard readiness checklists for server patching and other maintenance activities.
Ensure all identified risks from testing are escalated and mitigated appropriately.
Work with Project Manager to define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams including IT Infrastructure/software Development to ensure that deliverables are in accordance with the overall quality goals as well as follow the guidelines and principles adopted for QA test plan and test scripts.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
* Extremely detail oriented.

* Experience with any open source load and performance testing tools
* Some experience with ****ysis of system logs (e.g., Splunk) and monitoring data is good to have.
* Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.
