How many Dermaroller treatments do I need?
Although most clients report looking fresher and rested after a few days following treatment, it can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen. Your practitioner will normally recommend a series of 3 – 4 treatments with approximately 6 weeks between them. In treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary to extend your Dermaroller Therapy.

What should I expect immediately post Dermaroller treatment?
Immediately after your Dermaroller Therapy procedure you will look as thoughyou have mild to moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter thanusual. This will subside after 3 – 4 hours with only slight redness the next day.Your practitioner will apply Chiroxy Cream immediately after the procedure and youshould continue to use this cream until the redness has cleared. SPF50 is advisedimmediately after the procedure and should be continued throughout your treatmentcourse. It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 12 hours afterthe procedure and tepid water should be used to cleanse the face for the 48 hoursfollowing the procedure.

How long does the Dermaroller treatment take?
Treatment times vary for each area, 15-30 minutes for a scar or DermaStamp treatment, 45 minutes for a face and up to 90 minutes for face, neck and décolletage or stretch mark treatment. A topical anaesthetic is applied 30 minutes before the treatment time.
