HELIOS-44m-5 vs other versions
The H-44m-5 is multicoated(MC) lens and is appreciated most of all for it’s high resolving power and contrast – it is sharp and contrasty even wide open. Has aperture pin blocked(reversible and free of charge – just let me know), allowing for operating the aperture full range on all cameras by turning the aperture ring on the lens barrel(so called “stop down” mode).

The lens s/n 92485857 is in excellent condition!
Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze, no scratches.
Might have few light wipe marks / some internal dust particles present, but nothing to affect the photos.
Mechanics is very good – focus is smooth and even, a little on a stiff side.
Aperture blades are snappy, without oil.
Creates beautiful Biotar style bokeh – out of focus highlights are rendered as beautiful discs.
